We are the data controller for the personal information you provide to us. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to handling your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What data we collect

When you contact us or request a free home visit, we may collect:

Your name and telephone number
Your email address
Your property postcode
Details of your flooring requirements
Records of any communications between us

We do not collect any special category data. We do not use cookies beyond those strictly necessary for the website to function, and we do not use any tracking or analytics tools that collect personal data.

How we use your data

We use your personal data solely to:

Respond to your enquiry and arrange your free home visit
Provide a quote and carry out the flooring work you commission
Contact you about your order, delivery or installation
Follow up after completion to ensure you are satisfied

We will not use your data for marketing unless you have explicitly consented. We will never sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

Contract — where processing is necessary to fulfil a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

How long we keep your data

If you contact us but do not proceed with any work, we will retain your contact details for up to 12 months in case you return to us, after which they are deleted.

If we carry out work for you, we retain records of the transaction for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements for financial records. This includes your name, address, the work carried out and the amounts invoiced.

Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
Request erasure of your data (the "right to be forgotten"), subject to legal obligations
Restrict or object to our processing of your data

Third parties and data sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except where strictly necessary — for example, where a supplier needs your delivery address to fulfil an order placed on your behalf. In such cases, we share only the minimum data required.

We do not transfer your data outside the UK.
